Man arrested for selling wildlife to Chicago restaurants

A man is accused of buying and selling wildlife to be used as food in restaurants in the Chicago area.

Police arrested 47 year-old Alexander Moy following a two-year investigation of his business Kankakee Valley Fish Farm.

The company allegedly sold deer, turtles, and raccoons to various marketplaces in Chicago, including Chinatown.

Authorities said the raccoons and turtles were mostly used for soup and the deer was mixed in with other meat.

Moy is being held without bond until formal charges are filed.

What about picking a dead animal off of the road makes your teeth fall out? Every department of transportation has road kill crews and no problems!
We don’t eat off the road any more than the cow eaters do!

How about the names of the restaurants? That's the real story.

These restaurants knew what they were buying! I highly doubt it was roadkill! Held without bond. I think a reasonable bond is in order…but then again I would like to know what I am eating, when I go into a restaurant.

What about the businesses that purchased this aren't they at least as responsible as him, if not more responsible!!
