A woman and an 11-month-old baby died in a fire Tuesday on Chicago’s South Side .
Geneva White and the baby, Mi’Leyah Johnson died in the two-alarm fire in the Englewood neighborhood, officials on the scene told WGN.
The fire started just before 11 a.m. at a two-story building at 6730 South Emerald.
According to firefighters, it started at one home and spread to two other homes.
One of the homes was so engulfed in flames that the porch of the building collapsed.
