Arson investigators are looking into a suspicious fire that left a South Side house in rubble.

The fire broke out early this morning at a two-story house at 73rd and Vincennes, then spread to another building nearby.

It was called in by a CTA bus driver.

The house where the fire started partially collapsed, and firefighters had to wait for equipment to arrive before they could start searching for any victims who might have been inside.

Crews found gas cans in a couple of locations inside the house.

Fire officials say the latest reports are that the family which may have been in the building moved recently.
