Chicago man unknowingly buys 4 “Banksy” pieces

A Chicago man, who “just needed something” to decorate the walls of his new home with, made the buy of a lifetime Sunday.

The unidentified man was in New York when he bought four paintings for $60 a piece at a Central Park art stall.

What he didn’t know was, they were original pieces by the mysterious and notorious British graffiti artist known as “Banksy”, whose work regularly sells at auction for six figures.

BanksyThat’s not “Banksy” in the video, just a man hired to work the stall.

According to the artist’s website it took about four hours to make the first sale.

Only eight paintings were sold Sunday for a total of $420.
