Family of victim speaks out in River Forest stabbing death
The family of a woman who was brutally murdered speaks out.
19-year-old Justino Correa is accused of stabbing the mother of his child, 20 year-old Jasmin Salas, hiding her body in a plastic container, and dumping it in thatcher woods in West Suburban River Forest.
The Salas family said she’d been fighting Correa in court for the last two years over custody of their four-year-old daughter. Correa was denied bail yesterday.
The family said Salas was five months pregnant when she was murdered.
