Blackhawk Bickell, wife seek help to save pit bull

buddy-1024×1024Chicago Blackhawk Brian Bickell has a mission off the ice: He ‘s trying to save a pit bull.

Bickell and his wife, Amanda, run a charity that raises awareness and understanding of  pit bulls.

They’re taking up the cause of Buddy, a young pit bull found on a South Side street.

The Bickells are looking for a rescue group to take Buddy. They say they’ll cover all the costs including vetting and neutering.

The Bickells have a pit bull of their own.

Their charity is called Chicago Loves Pits.
