Chicago police officers shot and wounded a man in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
Police say the officers were responding to a call about a man with a gun Monday night.
The officers chased a man, fitting the description, on the 1300 block of West 76th Street.
They say the man ran and then pointed a gun at police.
Officers shot him in the elbow.
He was taken to the hospital in good condition.
Police say they recovered a gun at the scene.
