A woman has been charged in the rollover crash that killed four people, injured another four and closed down the Eisenhower Expressway Thursday morning.
31-year-old Margot Santillan of Chicago has been charged with improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed and no valid drivers license, among other charges, according to Illinois State Police.
Four women were killed this morning when Santillan lost control of the Ford Explorer she was driving. He vehicle was traveling westbound near Addison and overturned into a grassy area.
Three men and another woman were taken to the hospital.
The front seat passenger and the driver were wearing seatbelts. The state police say it does not appear the other passenger were wearing seatbelts.
According to the state police, the Ford Explorer seems to be the only vehicle involved in the crash.
