Suspect robs one bank 10 minutes after being asked to leave another
If at first you don’t succeed… A bank robbery suspect took that old adage literally this morning, holding up a Loop bank just minutes after being asked to leave another.
The man robbed the BMO Harris bank headquarters at Clark and Monroe at 9:45 a.m.
The FBI believes he’s the same man who was ushered out of a PNC Branch a block east just 10 minutes earlier for loitering and acting suspiciously.
The man is described as black, in his late 50s or early 60s, with brown eyes. He stands about 5-foot-9 and was wearing a baseball cap and a blue button-down shirt, with a white shirt underneath. The baseball cap was also blue, according to police and surveillance photos released by the FBI.
Anyone with information about the incidents or the robber is asked to call the Chicago FBI office, 312-421-6700
