Investigators say they are interviewing two people of interest in the strangulation deaths of a mother and daughter over the weekend.
The burned bodies of two women were found in a car, in southwest suburban Palos Park.
Firefighters were called to the burning car Saturday night in a nature preserve near Ford and Wolf roads.
Once they put out the flames on the PT Cruiser, they found two bodies inside, burned beyond recognition.
The medical examiner says the women were a mother and daughter – the mother in her 70s. The daughter in her 50s.
Both were strangled.
Dental records will confirm identities.
