How to Install a New Kitchen Faucet

If you have a leaky faucet or simply want to give your sink a face lift, Sean Buino of Dad’s Handyman Service has you covered with these simple steps:


  • Pliers
  • Plumber’s tape
  • Putty knife
  • Wrench
  • Faucet
  • Plumber’s putty
  • Supply lines


  1. Turn off water
  2. Wrap faucet threads with plumber’s tape
  3. Clean surface and apply new putty and baseplate
  4. Tighten nuts and attach supply lines
  5. Install sprayer
  6. Connect lines to valves, turn on water and test

This moderately difficult task will take around an hour and should cost about $15+
