Aussies take McDonald’s protest to Oak Brook HQ

A group of protesters, who don’t want a McDonald’s in their small town in Australia, will take their fight to Oak Brook today.

They’ll deliver petitions to McDonald’s headquarters.

They’re against a plan to build a McDonald’s in Tecoma, Australia which sits next to a national park.

The town’s council voted against the restaurant two years ago, but McDonald’s sued and the town was over-ruled by a higher body of government.

It’s real food, they have the laboratory tests to prove it!

Heidi – when the gas station starts marketing to kids, I'm sure you may have a point – until then using its presence to justify the store is a disingenuous argument.
