At least 6 taken to hospital during Riot Fest

At least six people were taken to area hospitals Saturday night from a weekend music festival in Humboldt Park.

It happened while the rock band “Blink 182″ was on stage.

Chicago Fire Dept officials had requested 10 ambulances to be stationed at Riot Fest as a precautionary move.

Firefighters say several people suffered anxiety attacks, and a few people were trampled.

They transported four people in good-to-fair condition and two in fair-to-serious condition.

Police officials said the people sustained various minor injuries.

It's best to stand behind the crowd to avoid this. Mosh pits are unpredictable and can swallow you up if you're not on your toes.

This happened during a set from Blink 182…seriously? Everyone here is claiming satanists and heavy metal and this was during a Blink 182 performance??? Do you people even know what this band sounds like? Probably not.

At least they weren't shooting at each other like everywhere else in Chicago.
