Illinois students continue to decline at U. of I.

There are fewer freshmen at the University of Illinois that are from Illinois, than ever before.

They make up 73-percent of this fall’s freshman class.

That’s down from 90-percent less than a decade ago.

The university says this was not intentional, even though out-of-state students pay higher tuition.

The school says more international students accepted admission than they predicted, and more Illinois applicants are actually turning down the university.

See, I wonder why they don’t sell off the university and make it a private institution should be able to collect a billion

No surprise, it is definitely more lucrative to milk ‘out of staters’ than you own residences .
