Charges have been filed against a 20-year-old man in connection to a fatal wrong-way crash on the Eisenhower Expressway.

Miguel Rico of the Little Village neighborhood is charged with aggravated driving under the influence and reckless homicide, according to a spokeswoman for the Cook County state’s attorney’s office.

Rico had been held without bail on a probation violation since the early Saturday morning accident.

Police say Rico was drunk when he drove his red Dodge minivan the wrong way on the Eisenhower Expressway.

The van was westbound in the eastbound lanes when it hit an oncoming car near Harlem Ave.

Driver Briana Resto, 19, and her friend Monica Hernandez, 20, both from Northlake, were killed. Another woman in the car, Brittney Mouzon, survived the crash.
