Emanuel to appoint former Chicago alderman to Metra board

A former Chicago Alderman is expected to become the newest member of the Metra board.

Mayor Emanuel is expected to appoint Martin Oberman to replace Larry Huggins, who resigned last month.

Oberman represented Chicago’s 43rd Ward.

He has a track record as an independent, and a man who campaigned for openness in city budgeting.

Oberman is currently a civil litigation attorney.

Lets see, in his past jobs he has admitted to having no knowledge about how city government runs or how the Illinois Racing Board functions. It's quite impressive that Oberman's lack of knowledge is not limited to transportation. Yet I bet this will count for a triple dip on the pension.
Maybe he owned a train set as a kid and that qualifies him for a metra board position.
