There will soon be a new roller coaster at Great America.

The new ride is called Goliath.

It will be the fastest wooden roller coaster, reaching top speeds of 72 miles-per-hour.

The ride will also have the tallest drop of 180-feet and steepest drop of 85-degrees for a wooden roller coaster.

Construction will begin this fall, and the ride is expected to be ready when the park opens next spring.
