Rotten apple in federal school lunch program

The lunches have more whole grains, fruits and vegetables.

When I went to school, I always brought my own lunch to school because I my parents didn't want me dependent on the schools to feed me.

This is good, gov’t agencies not happy and dropping out of a gov’t program. Now if only us taxpayers had the same option.
Maybe this approach is needed: if you breed them, then you feed them. The rest of this country is not responsible for irresponsible parents.

A 200-pound football payer gets the same portion as a 90-pound cheerleader. Also, the 200-pound student wants something that “sticks to their ribs.” Of course they are not happy.
