Authorities are searching for three suspected robbers after a Lansing bank was robbed and employees were injured.
The FBI says agents responded to a robbery at the USBank in the 17100 block of S. Torrence in Lansing around 1 p.m. Witnesses say three black men, at least one of whom was armed with a hand gun, entered the bank and announced a robbery.
The armed suspect jumped over the teller’s counter and demanded cash from bank employees.
No shots were fired, but two bank employees suffered minor injuries during the confrontation.
Throughout the afternoon and early evening, FBI agents continued to investigate. The bank was closed while witnesses spoke to agents.
Lansing police also responded. The FBI did not say how much money the men escaped with.
The robbers are described as black men, 5’7-5’8 who were all wearing hooded sweatshirts with bandanas or scarves covering the lower part of their faces.
