Gary police are issuing a warning after a group of middle schoolers were attacked while waiting for the bus Wednesday morning.
According to police, seven Lake Ridge Middle School students were waiting for the school bus near 24th and Gerry St when a black 4-door Chevy Impala drove up to the group. Two black males and two black females got out and told the students to give up their money and cell phones.
