Group harasses, punches Gary middle schoolers waiting for bus

Gary police are issuing a warning after a group of middle schoolers were attacked while waiting for the bus Wednesday morning.

According to police, seven Lake Ridge Middle School students were waiting for the school bus near  24th and Gerry St when a black 4-door Chevy Impala drove up to the group. Two black males and two black females got out and told the students to give up their money and cell phones.

When one of the students threatened to call police, one of the female suspects  proceeded to punch the student in  the face.  The student sustained a bloody nose and lip, according to police.

A neighbor came out of a nearby home and told the suspects she had called police.  The suspects fled.

Lake County Police also report that around the same time a man  in the 6800 block of West 25th Ave was approached by a group believed to  be the same group.  The group asked the man for directions and then pushed the man.

The suspects are described as a light skinned African American in her 20s, with dyed blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing a pink shirt and blue jean shorts.  A dark skinned African American in her mid 30s, wearing a blue shirt with blue and purple pajama bottoms, and a white and black hat. Two black men in their late 30s of early 40s

WOW!!! It's unbelievable 30 and 40 year olds robbing kids. Why is it the blacks hate each other so much? What have they done to each that it incites them to harm their own?
