Anti-violence march held in Englewood

Chicago community activists, police, and parents gathered for a rally in Englewood  on the city’s south side today

The Peace and Unity Campaign was held at Lindbloom high school.

It was organized by local ministers.  But they got a boost.  Support from one of the city’s deputy police chiefs.

The goal: to show that some in community want to help police fight back crime elements near their homes.
