Woman in custody after 5 special needs students hurt in bus crash

A woman is in custody after her car crashed into a school bus, causing both vehicles to flip over in Rockton.

The crash happened Wednesday morning on Rockton road, near the intersection of Forest Preserve Road.

The car and school bus nearly hit head on. There were five students on the bus at the time.

They all have special needs.

They were treated for minor injuries along with the driver of the bus.

The driver of the car, 23-year old Mary Sartino, is charged with aggravated DUI involving drugs and was being held Wednesday at the Winnebago County Jail.

    Doesn't anyone do background checks and a drug test WTF. This bus driver is only 23 years old and still in diapers.

    They said the driver of the car was 23, not the bus driver…. But still………
