A four-year old girl was among three people shot in Portage Park.
It happened on North Central Avenue near Irving Park shortly before 10:30 p.m.
A vehicle pulled up alongside the car Shyla Rivera was traveling in and opened fire, hitting her in the hip.
The girl, a 17-year-old boy, who was shot in the thigh, and the 20-year-old, who was shot multiple times, were all taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
One of them is the girl’s brother, police said.
All three were in serious-to-critical condition at the time, according to the Chicago Fire Department’s media office.
Their conditions were stabilized at the hospitals, police said.
No suspects are in custody.
