A 12-year-old girl was saved by a stranger Sunday. The girl was walking into a store Sunday afternoon when a man she didn’t know offered to take her home.

Reniah Eubanks trusted her gut and got help inside a Roger’s Park store when a man outside made her uncomfortable. She told a grown up and that grown up may have saved her life.

Betty Brewer confronted the strange man outside the store, wrote down his license plate and called police.

Police later nabbed the man trying to get away in that SUV and charged 52-year- old Abraham Pierre with and one count of attempted kidnapping.  He was ordered held on $100,000 bail.

Reniah and her family are thankful for Betty’s actions that day.
