Blackhawk Andrew Shaw to auction off Game 6 stitches
A battle scar IS on the auction block.
Chicago Blackhawk Andrew Shaw is auctioning the stitches he received in the Stanley Cup Finals. He was hit in the face with a puck Game 6, and later returned to that game.
All of the proceeds will benefit the Jimmy V. Foundation for Cancer Research.
Shaw doesn’t know how many stitches he received, but says it was up there.
The auction is set to begin August 15, and run 10 days on eBay.com.
