Chicago Police are conducting a death investigation after a 3-week-old girl was pronounced dead Monday morning.
According to Police News Affairs, the girl was taken from the 6100 block of South Fairfield Avenue to Holy Cross Hospital at around 9:00 a.m., where she was later pronounced dead.
The Chicago Fire Department confirmed that they transported someone from that address to Holy Cross Hospital. The girl’s name has not yet been released.
