Workers walk off job in protest

Fast food and retail workers walked-off their jobs in Chicago today demanding a higher wage and the right to unionize.
Employees at Whole Foods, McDonalds and other businesses are taking part in the Fight for 15 campaign.
They’re calling for a 15 dollar hourly wage and the right to form unions without retaliation.
Workers in at least seven other cities also demonstrated today.
The protests will continue tomorrow in the Loop, Water Tower Place, Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile.
