White Sox send Peavy to Boston in 3-way deal, get Garcia

The Chicago White Sox made their biggest move of the season.

Starting pitcher Jake Peavy was traded to Boston Red Sox in a three-team deal with Detroit.

The Sox get four prospects in return, including the Detroit Tigers’ top outfield prospect, Avisail Garcia.

Peavy was hampered by injury this season, but joins a playoff contender in Boston.

He tweeted this late Tuesday night:
