coldSaturday was one for the record books in Chicago, with a record “low” high temperature.

The high temperature  to just 65 degrees at O’Hare Airport.

That shattered the old record of 69, set in 1981.

The chilly fall-like temperatures kept many away from the beach and swimming pools and sent them looking for jackets and even gloves to stay warm.

We could see another record low “high” temperature again today, as we stick in the 60’s.

Sunday’s record “low” high is 66 degrees, also set in 1981.

What a difference from two weeks ago when we saw a record heat wave that had heat indices well over one-hundred.
