Chicago aldermen approved the Chicago Cubs’ proposal to spend $500 million to overhaul the Wrigley Field.
The plan calls for a 5,700-square-foot video board in left field, and a see-through billboard in right field.
The plan also includes a hotel and an office-retail complex nearby.
The deal doesn’t include some other hot button issues, including a proposal to extend the right field wall back even farther. The team also agreed to drop its request for a pedestrian bridge over Clark Street.
