3 Teens charged with shooting 6-year-old girl

Three teen boys have been charged with shooting and critically injuring a 6-year-old girl.


Terrence Lynom and Angelo Clark, 16, and 15 year-old Angelo Clark were charged this morning with first-degree attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.

The shooting happened Friday evening in the 300 block of West 105th Street on Chicago’s South Side.

Police say Quianna Tompkins was riding a scooter when she shot in the chest. Another woman was also shot in the leg.

Quianna remains in critical condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The woman was treated and released from the hospital, spokesman Mike Maggio said.

    Great…they should never see the light of day again.

    Now wouldn't it be terrific if the community cooperated like this on every gang violence case. It seems decent people do come forward as witnesses when children are shot…but the average gang banger death goes unsolved. The only way to end all of this violence is to stop letting the jerks get away with it. End this stigma on being a "snitch." Let the killers know that you're not going to just accept it anymore.
