Photo released of man who beat store clerk over T-shirt

Chicago police have released a surveillance photo of the man who beat a convenience store clerk with a baseball bat last week.

It happened Tuesday morning in the 5500 block of W. Belmont in the Cragin neighborhood.

The customer asked whether the store carried extra-large tank top t-shirts; when the clerk said no, the customer pulled out the bat and assaulted him.

The clerk was treated for a cut to his head; the attacker ran away.

If you recognize this picture, call Chicago Police.

Would have been funny if the store owner had a gun and blew this POS away. Then you can protest, yet again.
