No foul play suspected in death of woman on Texas roller coaster

A woman died while riding a roller coaster at a Six Flags in Arlington, Texas Friday.

It happened on the ride known as the “Texas Giant.”

Authorities have ruled out foul play.

A witness who was next in line, reports seeing the cars return with an empty seat.

He says a man was shouting that his mother had fallen off.

Another witness said right before the fall, the woman asked an employee to make sure her safety bar was secure, and an employee assured the woman that it was.

The ride is 153 feet tall at its highest point, and includes a drop of 147 feet.
