The body of a man who went missing in Lake Michigan has been found.
Rescue crews pulled the body of Michael Janko out of the waters in Hammond, late Thursday night.
Janko was 50-years-old and an alderman from Blue Island who was running for reelection.
He went swimming with friends near Wahala Beach Thursday, and then he never resurfaced.
The victim did not appear to have been wearing a life jacket when he got off the boat to go for a swim.
