The U.S. Air Force’s Thunderbirds are flying once again.
Air Force combat units from a number of commands are going to start flying again as well.
They were all grounded in April because of budget cuts.
However, the team will not resume aerial demonstrations previously scheduled for the 2013 calendar year, which means they still won’t be appearing in this year’s Chicago’s Air and Water Show.
The money to bring the Thunderbirds back will come from the Restored Flying Hour Program authorized by Congress.
