A teenager accused of driving under the influence in a deadly crash missed a court appearance today. Her attorneys telling the judge she’s suffering from post-traumatic stress.
19-year-old Carly Rousso is charged with reckless homicide and four counts of aggravated driving under the influence of an intoxicating compound after police say she drove into a family and killed a 5-year old girl.
It happened in Highland Park last Labor Day.
Rousso’s attorneys say she’s currently at a Highland Park hospital for treatment of post-traumatic stress.
