Rev. Al Sharpton calls for ‘National Day of Justice’ for Trayvon Martin
The Rev. Al Sharpton is calling for people across the country to hold “Justice for Trayvon” marches this Saturday in memory Trayvon Martin.
Sharpton said the “action vigils” will be held outside of federal court buildings across the country.
He is asking protesters to demand a push for federal charges against George Zimmerman.
This comes, following a series of protests around the country, including right here in Chicago, reacting to Saturday’s not guilty verdict in Zimmerman’s second-degree murder trial.
Rallies have been planned for Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and New York City.
