Jurors will resume deliberations Saturday morning, to decide if Zimmerman is guilty of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin last February, or if he acted in self-defense.
Protestors claim Martin was killed because he was black and wore a hoodie.
At an anti-violence rally, the Reverend Jesse Jackson issued a call for peace and asked that people accept the jury’s verdict – regardless of the outcome.
Jackson says if people were to riot, it would send the wrong message. He said people should fight for justice in other ways, like rallying for better education and healthcare.
