Storms, possibly severe, moving into Chicagoland
Hot and humid air will be around once again today with temperatures expected to top out in the upper 80s while it feels like the mid-90s.
The threat of showers and storms sticks around as well with the potential for some severe storms. While the best chance for storms comes during the afternoon and evening hours, a cluster of storms could bubble up at any time.
The slight risk for severe storms includes the threat of seeing damaging winds, large hail and even isolated tornadoes. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible and flood potential will be monitored.
A cold front moving through the region tonight will make storms likely and a chance for rain lingers into Wednesday morning. Drier and cooler air will star to filter into the region Wednesday.
