A 15-year-old boy and two others were killed in shootings on the West Side.

One shooting happened at the playground of Ward Elementary School near Ohio and North Lawndale.

Someone opened fire nearby and struck 15-year-old Ed Cooper in the chest.

Moments after that shooting, a woman was shot multiple times near 16th and South Drake.
