Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible especially during the morning hours, as we go through a warm and muggy Monday.

As skies become partly sunny temperatures to rise to near the 90 degree mark this afternoon.  A chance for widely scattered showers and storms will stick around through the afternoon and overnight.

Tuesday will be another hot and humid day with highs expected in the low 90s and heat indices topping 100.  Scattered storms will once again be possible and there is a slight risk that some storms may become severe.

After some showers and storms Wednesday morning, drier air is expected to start moving into the region as we head toward the end of the week.
