The North Side Rogers Park community came together to raise money for a local man who was brutally beaten outside a bar last month.

Witnesses say Michael Davis tried to break up a fight in the Poitin Stil pub on West Jarvis Avenue.

After he left, two men attacked him with a bat and a knife, leaving him with serious injuries.

People gathered at the pub yesterday to participate in an auction, raffle and other games; with all proceeds going toward Davis’ medical fund.

Police have no one in custody for the attack.
