Gas prices in Illinois begin to fall

Gas prices for Illinois and Indiana are finally dropping after months of increases.

On average, we’re paying $3.75 and $3.42 for a gallon of regular unleaded.

gas-pumpThis is the lowest prices have been since April 19th, 2013.

In June gas prices averaged $4.05 which was up $0.34 a year ago. The refinery issues that pushed prices high this spring have been resolved.
