Activists help search for Uptown gunman who shot six people Friday

The search for a gunman who shot six people on Friday got some help on the North Side.
Community activists handed out fliers at the corner of  Sheridan Road and Lawrence Avenue Saturday, encouraging residents to come forward with information in the shooting.

Four men and two women were shot Friday at about 7:30 pm at that intersection.  Police say the shooter fired several shots from a passing car.
All of the victims are expected to survive.
