Another warm and humid day will lead to yet another chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening.
With more sunshine than what we saw Wednesday our temperatures will rise into the mid-80s across the region. As the afternoon progresses our chance for thunderstorms increases. There is also a slight risk that some storms may become severe with the biggest threats being damaging winds and large hail.
The forecast calls for dry conditions overnight and to start the day Friday, but by mid-morning the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms returns. If the Blackhawks celebration stays dry those at the parade can expect partly sunny skies and warm temperatures.
Cooler air is expected for this weekend with a chance for scattered showers Saturday.
