Mayor Emanuel wants Blackhawks fans to take a page from Ferris Bueller’s book, and turn-out for the parade and rally on Friday for the Stanley Cup champs.

The parade will begin at the United Center, and end with a rally in Hutchinson Field in Grant Park.

The rally will take place at 11 a.m.

The city is expected to announce Thursday what time the parade will kick-off and the route.

WGN will broadcast all of the day’s events LIVE.

When the Hawks won the Cup back in 2010, about 2-million people lined the victory parade route through the Loop.

More people are expected this year, because it won’t be as hot and school is out.

According to what they stated the majority of the parade will be along Madison Street, from the United Center to Grant Park. Seems kinda stupid that its on the southside when it should be exactly downtown for the entire City of Chicago but thats the Mayor for you, you guys voted for this moron to run our city.
