Supermoon: Year’s largest, brightest moon rises Sunday

Sky watchers are in for a treat this weekend.
We’ll get to see a supermoon, one of the biggest celestial events of the year.
You can start to look for it tonight, but Sunday night the moon will be the closest and largest full moon of the year.

This year’s magic moment occurs at 6:32 a.m. CT  Sunday.
A supermoon happens a couple of times a year, but this weekend’s is the best one this year.
The moon will look about 14% wider, and 30% brighter than usual.
It won’t be this close to Earth again until August of  2014.
