Lombard restaurant closed after E. Coli illnesses reported

EcoliTHUMBA restaurant in Suburban Lombard is now closed after four confirmed cases of E. Coli were reported.

The DuPage County Health Department are not naming the restaurant at this time but listed it as a possible source for the illness after shutting the restaurant down Friday night.

Six people may have become ill after eating at the restaurant or at others in the area.

E. Coli can be a form of food poisoning that can sometimes require medical attention with symptoms such as abdominal cramping, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
