Police in Naperville are changing security measures at major events this year, in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings.
The department says it will schedule more officers, make better use of technology and improve communication with other agencies.
Naperville handles around 50 special events each year including: Ribfest and The Last Fling, which draw thousands of visitors.
