1999 cold case may be solved in western suburbs

A 14-year-old cold case may have been solved by police in the western suburbs.

Four men are charged in the murder of a man from Broadview, that happened in 1999.

The suspects are Dimeon Cole, Kevin Mitchell, Menard McCafee and Raymond Winters.

Police say the men kidnapped Darryl Green at gun-point from his electronics store, shot him to death, and then dumped his body in Gary, Indiana.

Prosecutors say new witnesses and telephone records helped them to break the case.
